21st Annual Komen Maryland Race for the Cure - October 20, 2013
On Sunday, October 20, 2013, the 21st Annual Komen Maryland Race for the Cure will bring together more than 30,000 Race participants, survivors and volunteers. Before we can gather together at the finish line we must work our way to the starting line.
Komen Maryland has set a $3,000,000 goal in life saving donations for this year’s race. The only way this can be achieved is through the help of each and every supporter. Our TLC athletes and their families have participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure each year since our inception as our community service project. It is a wonderful way to bring all the athletes and families of our program together to pool our efforts to better our community. Although this is not a mandatory event, we strongly encourage every member of TLC to participate along with any family members and friends who wish to join them.
All you need to do is follow the link below to make a donation or register to race with TLC on Sunday, October 20, 2013 in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Once registered there are exciting challenges to motivate your fundraising efforts and connect you with fellow Race participants. In 2012 the TLC team raised thousands of dollars in donations. Let’s work together to increase our support of this organization that is so important to all of our women!
As an extra incentive to our TLC teams, TLC will provide a party to the TLC team whose participants raise the most donations for the Race for the Cure. Have fun working together to help others!
