Providing me with this opportunity to play for such a competitive program has opened so many doors.

About TLC

TLC LACROSSE was founded in 2004 with the TLC 2009 team and developed around the coaching philosophy of TLC Program Director and TLC 2009 Coach, Mike Farrell. The program currently fields fifteen teams from 2017 through 2023.

We teach and reinforce excellence.

TLC Lacrosse endeavors to teach and reinforce excellence in the execution of fundamentals in all of our players while integrating more sophisticated concepts and techniques in our older girls. All TLC players are provided opportunities to compete against the top competition in the game today at tournaments and events throughout the year.

We believe in the scholar-athlete.

TLC fervently believes in the multi-sport student athlete and encourages all of our players to pursue other sports and interests. Our programmatic policy is that our girls should always honor the “in-season” sport. Similarly, for our younger girls, we fully support the critical mission of rec sports. Above all, we work hard to ensure that our players are having fun and striking a good balance in their lives.

We support community service initiatives.

TLC Lacrosse supports a significant community service initiative.  In 2005, our girls raised and donated more than $6,000 to the American Red Cross to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina.  Since 2006, our players and their families have committed their efforts to raise funds and awareness for a  most important women’s cause - breast cancer research.   By participation in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, our children, from youngest to oldest, have had the opportunity to give back to their community and to use their energy and optimism to make the world a better place. In addition, TLC teams have supported other worthwhile causes, including Cystic Fibrosis Foundations' CF Walk, which saw a particularly strong commitment by our 2013 White team.

We develop character and good decision making.

Our mantra is “TLC Lacrosse - Building Greatness from Within.”  Developing character and good decision making, both on and off the field, are at the heart of our mission. Our girls are taught to be the best they can be - for themselves, for their team, and for the greater community.  TLC student athletes are taught that good sportsmanship is valued far more than great athleticism and that kindness and fair play are the traits that best qualify them to stand victorious in the winner’s circle.
